The Dakota County Fair takes place annually in Farmington, Minnesota, and is run by the Dakota County Agricultural Society. It features a wide variety of attractions including livestock shows, 4-H competitions, carnival rides, live music, and more. The fair also has special days like Senior Day, Kids' Day, and Public Safety Day.

Go back in time to a summer day in a rural Minnesota town of 1900 – walk through historic buildings like the Depot, one-room School, and family homes, or see demonstrations at the Millinery, Print Shop, and Carpenter Shop. You can listen to music at the Bandstand and grab a delicious root beer float in the Drug Store, then head to the Gift Shop or General Store for candy and more.
